The monasteries and villages will color the days of your stay with island tradition.

Tinos Town – Port

DISTANCE: 10 minutes walking.

The capital of the island and at the same time its commercial and tourist center. It has two ports: The outer (new) port which is the port you will reach by boat and the inner (old) port which you will reach by speedboat. The coastal road (the beach), which starts from the outer port, is the epicenter of tourist traffic and is pedestrianized in the evening hours of the summer.

Holy Church of Evangelistria

DISTANCE: 15 minutes walking.

The Virgin Mary of Tinos is the most famous pilgrimage destination of Hellenism and one of the most popular of Christianity. The discovery of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary, which is kept in the temple, coincided with the establishment of the modern Greek state, and was associated with shocking reports of numerous miracles.

Agios Fokas Beach

DISTANCE: 7 minutes walking.

A long beach on Tinos, wide and sandy, organized with umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants and water sports. On the mountain to the right of the road there is the archaeological site of Vryokastro, where ruins of the prehistoric acropolis of the island are preserved.
The coastal road is suitable for walking or running.

Agios Ioannis Beach Porto

DISTANCE: 10 minutes by car.

In just 6.5 kilometers you will find yourself on an ideal beach for everyone, with sand inside and out without a single stone, shallow and relatively protected from the winds of Tinos, while the beach bar at the end gives a cosmopolitan dimension.

At the other end, where the road ends, is the chapel of Agios Ioannis.

Monastery of Agia Pelagia

DISTANCE: 15 minutes by car.

The religious and historical value of the Monastery is invaluable, since Saint Pelagia, whose vision led to the finding of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary on January 30, 1823, practiced asceticism there.

The architectural interest of the Monastery is also special. It resembles a traditional village surrounded by a fortress wall and maintains the simple Cycladic architecture with dominant elements of stone, arches, cobblestone alleys, and the color white.

Kolymbithra Beach

DISTANCE: 25 minutes by car.

Megali Ammos (also known as “California” among the locals) is ideal for water sports that require wind and waves.
